In the 50 years establishment of MARDI, they have generated inventions and technological innovations to cater for the needs of agriculture industry through research and development (R&D) activities. Their research spread over various agriculture disciplines from agronomy to crops and farm management to food processing which includes sub-disciplines such genetics, nanotechnology, biotechnology, biodiversity, agriculture mechanization, food chemistry as well as biomass processing. Therefore, MARDICorp acts is to accelerate the commercialization and market all these technologies and innovations for the greater good of the community.
CONSULTANCY
MARDICorp has also market agriculture knowledge from from two-way approaches which is technology-push angle where we would offer our technology and expertise through collaboration with MARDI and other government agencies as well as industrial player. The second is a demand-pull angle where MARDICorp will find and share agriculture knowledge client requirement respectively. This involved further knowledge extraction and analysis of socio-economic and physical ecosystem of local community. This process is normally done through technical consulting services and project management format.
FACTORY & RETAILS
MARDICorp has also taken the opportunity to expand the market of agricultural products through the development of processing plant where we will process our own crops and products. Whilst processing plant is to process, the existence of retails outlet is to showcase and market these products and crops as well as MARDI and other input supply products to the community. Our retails concept of foods and input supply kiosk will also be sold as franchise in a near future hence expanding the cycle of MARDICorp business model.
